That’s why we provide a comprehensive range of resources, guidance, and ongoing support to ensure you feel confident, valued, and equipped in your role.

Support Every Step of the Way

From your first enquiry through to approval and beyond, we are with you at every stage of your fostering journey.

You will receive:

  • A dedicated Supervising Social Worker who will provide regular guidance, supervision, and support
  • 24/7 support, so you always have someone to turn to in times of need
  • Regular home visits and check-ins, tailored to your individual circumstances
  • Practical advice and emotional support, helping you manage both everyday situations and more complex challenges

Training & Development

We are committed to helping you grow and succeed as a foster carer.

Our training programme includes:

  • Comprehensive pre-approval training to prepare you for fostering
  • Ongoing professional development, keeping your skills and knowledge up to date
  • Specialist training for Parent and Child placements
  • Opportunities to build confidence in areas such as safeguarding, behaviour support, and child development

Peer Support & Community

Fostering can be challenging—but you’re never alone.

We encourage a strong sense of community through:

  • Regular support groups, where carers can share experiences and advice
  • Peer networking opportunities, building connections with other foster carers
  • Workshops and events, designed to support learning and wellbeing
