At Parent and Child Fostering Services Ltd (PACFS), our primary aim is to deliver effective fostering services that enhance the life chances and opportunities of children and young people, with a specialist focus on supporting and enabling parents and children to stay together safely within our Parent and Child fostering placements

We achieve this by:

  • Providing safe, stable, and nurturing homes where children can feel valued, supported, and able to thrive within a warm family environment.
  • Placing children at the centre of everything we do, ensuring their welfare, needs, and best interests are always our highest priority.
  • Carefully matching children with foster carers, taking into account their individual needs, wishes, backgrounds, and strengths to promote positive and lasting placements.
  • Recruiting and retaining a diverse range of foster carers, enabling us to offer suitable placements that reflect the varied needs of children and young people.
  • Supporting educational achievement, encouraging every child to reach their full potential and access meaningful learning and development opportunities.
  • Promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion, ensuring each child’s cultural, religious, and individual identity is respected and supported.

Encouraging children and young people to explore their interests, develop hobbies, and engage in social and recreational activities that support confidence and personal growth.

Promoting physical and emotional wellbeing, ensuring every child has access to appropriate healthcare and is supported to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Supporting meaningful relationships, enabling safe and appropriate contact with birth families and significant individuals wherever possible.

Providing ongoing training and professional support to foster carers, delivered by a skilled and experienced team of social workers.

Delivering a responsive, high-quality 24-hour support service, ensuring foster carers, children, and stakeholders always have access to guidance when needed.
